Towards the end of March 2005, up to 8000 Golden Plover gathered on Sandwith Moor. I managed to get a photo of a flock of about two thirds in flight and overlaid a grid on the image to do a count result. Flight images take in Shutter Priority at 1/ 800th using 18-70mm lens (at 70) thought you may be interested in the grid and count - feel this is quite a useful technique.
