Meetings

Group meetings are held on the first Tuesday in each month at the Bradford & Bingley Sports & Social Club,Wagon Lane, Bingley and commence at 7.30pm.

Calendar for 2012
Aims of the Bradford Ornithological Group

To promote the study and the welfare of birds in the group’s recording area.
To promote a wider awareness of birds through indoor meetings and local walks.
To publish an annual report of birds recorded in the area.
To identify sites within the area worthy of conservation.
To continue to establish sites within the area as permanent bird reserves.

Membership Benefits
Permitted access by special arrangement to Stockbridge Nature Reserve and Thornton Moor Reservoir.
Free entry to talks by guest speakers.
A copy of the latest Annual Report.
Lapwing, the group’s newsletter published twice a year.
Site visits to prime birding locations led by experienced group members.
